It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tex Owen Gilliam of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gilliam; his sons, Kelly Gilliam (Dianna) of Fort Gibson, OK and Jeffrey Gilliam (Crystal) of Louin, MS; his grandchildren, Brock Gilliam of Fort Gibson, OK, Morgan Gilliam of Fort Gibson, OK, Jace Gilliam of Fort Gibson, OK, Lexi Gilliam of Muskogee, OK, Zack Gregory, Macie Gregory of Conroe, TX and Tanner Guynes of Louin, MS; his nephews, Steve Bietz, Doug Bietz, Kevin Gilliam, Greg Gilliam and Kent Gilliam; his siblings-in-law, Martha Shipley, Barbara McFarland, Bettie Jordan and Rowe Dean Ragsdale; his cousins, Maxine Dixon, Vicky Beutler and Randy Gilliam; and also, Anthony Harris of Conroe, TX, John Piragine of Brazil, Ray Isbell of Braggs, OK and Jeff McElhaney of Hitchita, OK. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
