He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sheffield and Helen Sheffield (Ludescher); his son David Paul Sheffield; and his sister Susan Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Clara Henderson; his daughters, Beth Wright of Oktaha, OK, Karen Bouse (Brad) of Broken Arrow, OK and Jan Westover (Dew) of Vernon, TX; his daughter-in-law Nancy Sheffield of Fort Gibson, OK; his grandchildren, Jonathan Moore of Oktaha, OK, Dustin Wright of Edwards, CO, Keiven Wright of Memphis, TN, Lindsey Bouse of Broken Arrow, OK, Jessica Wilcox of Fairview, OK, Brian Sheffield of Fort Gibson, OK, Jimmy Westover of Frederick, OK and Cassie Westover Swatzell of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Elaine Henderson of Fort Gibson, OK, Ann Wilks of Oktaha, OK, Betty McCollom of Edmond, OK and Don Sheffield of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by his sisters, brother in laws and friends.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers to make donations in Dick's name to the Fort Gibson FFA Booster Club, 500 South Ross, Fort Gibson, OK. 74434 or by call 918-478-2474 for more information.
