It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Dean Gloden Sr. (Fort Gibson, Oklahoma), born in Elkhart, Kansas, who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Gloden and Dorothea Gloden; his son Timothy David Gloden; and his siblings, Emerson Lee, Kenneth and Maxine Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Miller; his sons, Steven (Rhonda), Melvin Jr. (Sharon), Mark (Kathy), Alan (Shelly) and Joel (Mary Gonzales); his grandchildren, Melanie Dipprey (Jason), Melissa Blundell (Brad), Dara Gloden, Devonie Melnik (J. C.), Michael, Myles, Matthew Gloden, Laura Loomis (Josh), Krista Thompson (David), Anna and Hailey Gloden; his great grandchildren, Joey Melnik, Lynlee, Lacey, Landrie Dipprey, Kylie, Keira Blundell, Brooklyn, Evelyn, Raelyn Loomis and Paityn Thompson; and his siblings, Bobby (LoRee) and Imogene Hetzel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
