She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar William and Mary Almeda Springer (Taylor); her husband Danny Joe Gist; her son Tony Gist; and her siblings, Norma Coker, Naomi Springer, Laverne Merket, Dorothy Little, Donna Springer, Wayne Springer, Melvin Springer and Kenneth Springer.
She is survived by: her sons, David Gist (Lavina) of Fort Gibson and Jerry Gist (Karen Otten); her daughter-in-law Brenda Gist of Purdon, Texas; her grandsons, Danny Gist (Cathy) of Fort Gibson, Bodee Gist (Alexis) of Corsicana and Pake Gist (Ashley) of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and her great grandchildren, Gracie Gist, JD Gist, JW Gist, Aedan Gist and DJ Gist.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home (1224 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434). Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at 1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
