He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Nichols and Ella Mae Raper; his children, Sharon Long and Ricky Nichols; and his siblings, Billy Joe Ragsdale, Junior Ragsdale, Bobby Gillispie, Gary Gillispie, Dortha Lee Eubanks and Jackie Stills.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny D Nichols of Fort Gibson and Janice Yandell of Fort Gibson; and his sisters, Jinnie Karnes of Tulsa and Martha Gootee of Oregon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Three Rivers Cemetery.
