It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Rowan of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Rowan and Ella Rowan (Byfield); his siblings, Ginger Whitehead and Carl Rowan, Jr.; and his granddaughter Jayden Rowan.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his son Jimmy Dale Rowan, Jr. of Fort Gibson; his siblings, Linda Wilson of Fort Gibson and Lonnie Rowan (Brenda) of Fort Gibson; his nieces and nephews, Billy of Fort Gibson, Ricky Whitehead of Fort Gibson, Donnie Rowan of Broken Arrow, Berry Rowan of Inola, Will Rowan of Fort Gibson, Tammy Foster of Owasso and Saundra Marshall of Fort Gibson; and his grandchildren, Andrew Rowan of Bixby, Lyric Rowan of Alabama, Preston Lewis of Broken Arrow and Maeve Rowan of Fort Gibson. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
