He is survived by: his wife E. LaVerne Hammontree; his children, Jimmie Don Hammontree (Joela) of Fort Gibson and Debbie Rector of Fort Gibson; his grandchildren, Lacey Bean of Fort Gibson, Brianna Shroeder of Fort Gibson and Christopher Hammontree of Fort Gibson; and his sister Joie Russell of Lowell, Indiana. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
