With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh S. Pickering III (Fort Gibson, Oklahoma), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 10, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Sherlock Pickering, Jr. and Katherine Anne Moore; and his sister Katherine Jackson Porter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jacqueline McPherson; his sons, Joseph Pickering and Kenneth Pickering; his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Thomas Hastings; and his half-sister Martha (David Strickler). He is also survived by several step brothers and sisters, cousins and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Wounded Warriors or American Heart Association.
