With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Ray Phillips of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 35. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Leann Phillips (Ellis) and Donnie Gene Phillips, Sr.; and his aunt Judy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Onstot; his daughter Mariah; his siblings, Chuck Jones (Melissa), Tom Jones (Jamie), Bryan Johnson (Birdman), J. J. Samples, Michelle (Billy Hibbert) and Krisshell (Daniel Henson); his nieces and nephews, Wesley Jones (Jenni), Thomas Jones (Emma), Zachary Sawyer, James Jones, Billy III, Hibbert, Katherine Inez Jones (Jake Stark), Haley Dallis (Jonothan) and Lucinda Hibbert; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaden Owens of Langston Jones, J. J., Joseph Samples, Atticus Henson, Loretta Dallis, Sophia Dallis, Laynee Jones, Lexi Samples, Carley Samples, Aliaya Henson and Lyla Henson; and his godparents, Terry (Punkin) and Cindy Samples.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home (1224 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Community Gospel Center (1686 Highway 62 East, Fort Gibson, OK 74434).
