Donald Lafoy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reading and Lula Reading (Campbell); and his siblings, Melvin Reading, Ealis Reading, Herbert Reading, Delbert Reading and Sybil Reading.
He is survived by: his wife Reba L. Reading of Fort Gibson, OK; his sons, Ronald Reading of Muskogee, OK and Jeffrey Reading of Bakersfield, CA; his grandchildren, Ronald Allan Reading, Sarah LeAnn Reading, Aaron Lafoy Reading and Andrew William Reading; and his great grandchildren, Shaina Marie Stout, Sarah Catherine Stout, Nicholas Wayne Stout, Gracie Virginia Stout, Kent Alexander Reading, Asher William Reading, Eliza Jade McCoy Reading, Bentley Eli and Troy Reading. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (1487 E Poplar St, Fort Gibson, OK 74434). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at 1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
