She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Backes and Margaret Irene Backes (Ferrell); her siblings, John Backes, Debbie Backes and Mike Backes; and her nephew Kent Backes.
She is survived by: her brother Kevin Backes (Sharon) of Muskogee, OK; her nephews, Justin Backes of Edmond, OK, Bryan Kaad of Broken Arrow, OK and Kevin Backes of Tulsa, OK; her sister-in-law Beverly Backes of Fort Gibson, OK; and her nieces, Tonya Wesley of Fort Gibson, OK and Tika Stephens of Fort Gibson, OK. She is also survived by family members and friends.
