It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Darlene Melton of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Royse and Mozell Royse (McElmurry); and her nephew Jason Stewart. She is survived by: her husband Jerrod Melton of Fort Gibson; her sons, Richie Melton (Amber) of Fort Gibson, Jeffery Melton of Fort Gibson and Tommy Melton of Fort Gibson; her grandchildren, Jake Melton and Lizzy Melton; her siblings, Kathy Reich (Nick), Tammy Martin (Jimmy), Shelly Brooks (Scott) and Jeff Royse (Whitney); her brothers-in-law, Danny Melton and Joey Melton; her mother-in-law Linda Melton; and her pets, Peanut, Belle, Blue and Sadie. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; extended family; and many friends.
