Bret Bryant Obituary
Bret Allen Bryant, 60 year-old Ft. Gibson resident, passed away March 15, 2023 in Tulsa. Bret was born March 2, 1963 in Pryor, Oklahoma to William "Bill" and Carla (Haynes) Bryant. Bret graduated from Muskogee High School. He worked for many years as the Assistant Parts Manager for Kirby Smith Machinery. Bret was an avid hunter and loved spending time in the woods. He also was great at grilling and loved to grill out, regardless of the weather. Bret had a passion for drag racing and restoring old cars. He was recently in the process of restoring a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle.
Bret is survived by his partner, Claudia Taylor, of the home; parents Bill and Carla Bryant of Tulsa; daughters, Tabitha Ford and husband Kelly of Muskogee, and Brandi Taylor of Texas; granddaughters, Jemma Ford of Muskogee, and Bailey Stewart of Edmond; and his best friend, Jimmy Don Weeden of Ft. Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The family will received friends in the Stephens-Key Chapel from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2023. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 20, 2023 at Chouteau West Cemetery, Chouteau, Oklahoma.
