He was predeceased by: his parents, Mannie Wilks and Lois Wilks; his grandmother Lettie Cooper; his siblings, Johnny Gray and Janice Battenfield; and his son-in-law Paul Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Hatley (Mark) of Fort Gibson, Bobbi Butler of Fort Gibson, Alan Wilks (Sherry) of Fort Gibson and Gary Paul Wilks (Tye) of Oktaha; his grandchildren, Ashlie Ryan (John) of Waco, TX, Alana Hatley (Josh English) of Houston, TX, Chelsea Heath (Dustin) of Lequire, OK, Alicia Moore (Steven) of Whitefield, OK, Justin Wilks (Heather) of Dallas, TX, Nick Wilks (Robin) of Muskogee, Mark A. Hatley (Andy) of Fort Gibson and Michael Butler (Savannah) of Fort Gibson; and his sister Linda (Gene Faulconer) of Fort Gibson. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
