In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Roy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Roy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Phillips and Lora Phillips (Harris); his wife Rachel Phillips; and his sister Phyllis Evans. He is survived by: his close friend Margaret Miles; his children, David Phillips (LaDonna) of Fort Cobb, Jo Carol McMillin (Kenneth) of Bartlesville and Elizabeth Diane McMillin (William) of Oklahoma; and his sister June Eggleston of Wichita Falls.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538-3029).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
