He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Preston and Nora Lena Milstead Sallee; and his sister Joyce Sallee Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Adams and Jonathan Sallee; and his sister Shirley Belvin. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece; and two great-nieces.
