He is survived by: his wife Ashley Berends; his son Clayton Ricke; his parent Tammie Berends (Schiller); his grandparents, Ted, Bobbie Harvey, Ed and Terri Schiller; his parents-in-law, Mark and Carol McCoy; his siblings, Jonathan Schmucker (Kristen) and Mary Helmuth; his siblings-in-law, Zach, Kayla McCoy, Amanda and Jacob Walker; his nieces and nephews, Brian Silver, Orrin Helmuth, Keston Schmucker, Kyler, Cooper Walker, Paxton Nunez, Ellie Walker and Bellamy McCoy; his aunt Tonya LaRiveiere; and also, Martin, Mary McCoy, Loren Burlingame, Patsy and Guy Oliver. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
