She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Gibson and Sophia Gibson (Becker); and her husband R. Gene Turrell. She is survived by: her children, Lennie Turrell, Lynn Turrell of Fairview, OK, Lane Turrell of Arizona and Lois Turrell of Wichita, KS; and her grandchildren, Kamber Mathews, LaTasha Turrell of Haley Turrell, T. J, Jeremy Turrell, Bryan Turrell, Rebecca Turrell, Jennifer Gautieri, Laney Crockett and Kerrigan Turrell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
