He was predeceased by: his parents, Oris Angus and Margaret Cofer (Halstead); and his stepbrother Dewayne Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Randy Cofer (Robin), Kristi Chavez (Tony) and Danny Cofer; and his brother Gary (Joan). He is also survived by five grandkids, and seven great grandkids.
