He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lanning and Lorraine Lanning (Link); and his brother Delbert Lanning. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kay Baird; his daughters, Melissa Smith (Jeff) of Newalla and Tammy Garcia (Clay); his grandchildren, Addie Smith (Kane), Destiny Smith, Xavier Garcia, Breanna Garcia, Ethan Smith and Aubre Garcia; and his great grandchild Blake.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Legion Post 51 or the Fairview Nazarene Church.
