He was predeceased by: his parents, Helene Eggers (Hedemann) and Christian Martin Eggers (CM); his wife Leola Lemke (Lee); and his son James. He is survived by: his children, John (Lara), Joel (Vicki) of Fairmont and Ann (Ted Williams) of Coppell, TX; his daughter-in-law Janine Eggers of Manhattan, NY; his grandchildren, Whitney Eggers, Kayley Eggers, Lauren Gau (Ben), Spencer Eggers, Parker Eggers (Hayley), Conner Eggers, Sophie Eggers, Michael Guerra (NaTasha), Nathaniel Martin, Devin Martin (Brittany), Hannah Williams, Hayden Williams, Greta Williams and Bess Williams; and his great grandchildren, Miles Guerra, Mason Guerra, Merylee Guerra, Draven Martin, Angelica Hytle, Kaiya Martin, Tristan Martin, Josiah Eggers, Evan Eggers, James Eliana Gau and Noah Eggers.
