She was predeceased by: her parents, B. E. Boyd (Bert) and Macy Boyd (White); her husband Melvin L. Simmons; and her siblings, Eva Boyd, Bessie Gibson, Juanita Hayes, Helen Rowley, Clinton Boyd, Harold Boyd (Bill), Lester Boyd, Wayne Boyd, James Boyd, Kenneth Boyd and Johnny Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Shafer (John) of Galena, KS, Donna Pryor (Jack) of Miami, OK, Doris Shelton of Narcissa, OK and Ernest Simmons (Wanda) of Stillwater, OK; her grandchildren, Kyle Shafer (Kim), Ryan Shafer (Taunie), Dennis Anderson (Jordan), Adam Pryor (Ellie), Megan Bushman (Dakota), Alicia Pryor, Emily Harp (Graham), Whitney Shafer and Moriah Shelton; her great grandchildren, Tori Shafer, Alex Shaffer, Elsie Pryor, Anderson Pryor, Austin Bushman, Hunter Bushman, Adric Hardwood-Bushman, Kole Bushman, Bentley Anderson and Declan Anderson; her grandchildren, Jason Gibson, Sheila Warrington (Gibson) and Alicia Shelby; and her siblings-in-law, Darrel Simmons of Miami, OK, Roger Simmons (Jeanette) of Houston, TX, Alma Lee Patton of Miami, OK and Pat Simmons of Henryetta, TX.
