He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanton Stanley Sawyers and Hazel Mae Garner-Rankins; his spouse Emmalue; his children, Margaret, Steve, Barbara, David and Annette; and his siblings, Don Lady and Brenda Sue Sadler (Rankins). He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a 'handful' of great-great grandchildren.
