It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Carder of Eufaula, Oklahoma, born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Carder and Peggy Carder (Harjo). She is survived by: her daughters, Tia Lee Roberts of Coweta, Valerie Carder of Henryetta and Gina Chisholm (Donald Chisholm) of Okmulgee; her grandchildren, Reign and Raven Roberts; and her siblings, Vickie Mead of Wetumka, Bobby Harjo (Nicole) of Liberty-Mounds and Johnny Harjo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
