She is survived by : her son Charles Andrew "Bub" Hammett Jr. (Lori) of Eufaula; her grandchildren, Laura Hammett, Charles "Jesse" Hammett and Shelby Hammett Luellen (Joe); her daughter Melissa Beth Hammett-Merrick (John); her grandchildren, Brandon Merrick (Sierra) and JT Merrick (Laura Jean); and her great grandchildren, Alexis Hammett-Tootill, Peyton Hammett, Lena Hammett, Charlee Hammett and Madden Merrick.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory (401 N Main St, Eufaula, OK 74432). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Eufaula Church of Christ (220 W Grand Ave, Eufaula, OK 74432).
