He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Silk and Nillie Silk. He is survived by: his children, Rodger Silk, Michael Silk Jr., Kenneth Silk, Richard "Mike" Silk, Susie Bass, Cora Panic, Theresa Nordyke and Cathy Wilson. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.
