He was predeceased by: his parents, Thed Hanks and Ruby Hanks; his former wife Dorothy; his wife Rozella; his brother James L. Hanks; his son David; and his grandson Jeremy.
He is survived by: his children, Melvenia Walker of Stratford, OK, Liz Christian of Eufaula, OK, Gary Hanks and Ray Keesee of Yukon, OK.; and his brothers, Gerald Hanks (Jane) of Hallsville, TX and Bob Hanks (Cheryll) of Wentzville, MO.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
