She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Eugene and Ava Boatner (Wood); her husband Earl Dean Buie; her brother Eugene Boatner; and her sister-in-law Sandye.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Dean Buie (Dana) of Eufaula and Richard Brian Buie (Robyn) of Perry; and her siblings, Mike Boatner (Teresa) of Glenpool and Sue Miller of Jenks. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
