He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson Lucas and Minnie Lucas; his wife Stella Arlene Lucas; his son Paul David Lucas; his grandson-in-law Jason Gerard; and his siblings, Edmond Samis, Fleming'Samis'Sims, Alex Baker, Pearl Irene Lucas, Bessie Whisenhunt and Katherine'Jimmy'Baker.
He is survived by: his sister Lorelei Nail; his grandchildren, Heather Gerard of Calvin, OK, Ashley Lucas of Wewoka, OK and Brian Paul Larry Lucas of Wewoka, OK; his great grandchildren, Aliese Gerard of Calvin, OK, Reiley Gerard of Calvin, OK, Brian Knight and Brayden Choate of Wewoka, OK; his children, Glenda McCully of Piedmont, OK, Jennifer Smith of Norman, OK and James Glen McCully; and his grandchildren, Matthew McCully of Norman, OK, Zane Cummings of Norman, OK and Zachery Smith of Norman, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Fisher Funeral Home (700 S Broadway St, Holdenville, OK 74848). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lucas Family Cemetery.
