It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Houston Newton of Eufaula, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Artie Lee and Willie Newton (Jones); his daughter-in-law Susan Newton; his siblings, Nathaniel, Leroy, Billy and Willie Fairchild; and his great grandchild Tyson Kingfisher.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Dean Hammett; his children, Robert Newton (Lynn) of Owasso, Larry Newton (Debbye) of Eufaula and Pam Bailey (Charlie); and his siblings, Harold Newton (Katie) of Stidham, J. W, James, Bonnie Barnett of Eufaula and Betty Eason of Wilburton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
