He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Neal and Clara Oreatha Buie (Renfrow); and his brothers, Neal Gary Buie and Murl Gene Buie. He is survived by: his wife Lula Lorene Boatner; his sons, Barry Dean Buie (Dana) of Eufaula and Richard Brian Buie (Robyn) of Perry; and his sister Joan Carol Thornbrugh (Richard) of Lawson, Missouri. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
