He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Strickert and Myra Strickert (Roemer); his wife Donna Arlene Leighty; and his niece Dana Marie Orrick. He is survived by: his children, Phil Strickert of Plains, Kansas, Steve Strickert of Euless, Texas, Carol Strickert and Monica Strickert; his granddaughter Savanna Strickert; his great grandchildren, Skylar Strickert, Miles McCormick and Parker McCormick; and his siblings, Linda Orrick, Phyllis Sage, Annette Armstrong and Bill Strickert.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory (401 N Main St, Eufaula, OK 74432). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Greenwood Cemetery.
