He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Charles Yaws and Dora Baker; his wife Edith Dudley Yaws; his daughter Brandy Yaws; his sisters, Virginia Sheets, Merrill Beatrice Ritchie, Jeanette Clifton, Joyce Price and Erna Jean Gorham; and his granddaughter Chelsea Mize.
He is survived by: his children, Tessa Mize (Jimmy) of Coalinga, CA and Daniel "Bo" Yaws II (Tracie) of McCurtain, OK; his grandchildren, Nichole Mize, Bridget Mize, Amy, Matthew Yaws, Christian, Tommy, Anahi, Denise, Dania, Jessica, Ryder and Raylan Yaws; his great grandchildren, Aria Miller, Dion Fantroy, Asher Holder, Jaxson Yaws, Thalia Yaws, Charlies Yaws, Blazyn Monroe, Harper Marie and Curtis Yaws; and his brother Jay Yaws (Joyce Johnnie Yaws). He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
