He is survived by: his children, Charles Edward Lackey Jr., Donald Allen Lackey, Alesha Dickey (Royce) of Eufaula, OK, Mary Ellen Sharp of Waldron, AK and Carol Stephens of Monroe, OK; and his sister Caroline Willmon. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
