He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jimmy Ray Wilks; and his uncle Jason Wilkerson. He is survived by: his parents, William "Willie" and Charlotte Wilks of Eufaula; his fiancé Ashley Phillips; his children, Jase Wilks and Kaylee Wilks; his brothers, Wesley of Eufaula, Andy of Eufaula and Garrett Wilks of Eufaula; and his grandparents, Sonja Wilks of Ennis, TX and Willie Wilkerson of Mesquite, TX. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
