He was predeceased by: his parents, Beauton Carel Nixon and Virginia Lee Leeper (Laughlin); his stepfather Tommy Webb; his brothers, David Caroll Nixon and Danny Joe Webb; and his brother-in-law Larry Lanham.
He is survived by: his son Jermiah Whinney of Weleetka; and his siblings, Freddie Dewayne Nixon (TJ) of Eufaula, Delores Lanham, Kathy Jones (Jimmy) of Henryetta and Sherry Sonoma Baldwin (Jason) of Weleetka. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
