He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Chester and Maude Mahan (Moore); his wife Alice Mahan; and his siblings, Ben, Kenneth Mahan and Anita Wells.
He is survived by: his brothers, Clifford Mahan of Okmulgee and Andy Mahan of Henryetta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
