He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman King and Dorothy King; his grandson Skyler Palmer; his siblings, Leon King, Leonard King, Jim King, Murile Skaggs and Betty Bradford; his half-brothers, Virgil and Arley Johnson; his nieces, Alberta and Joyce; and his nephew Brayden.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy King; his children, Crystal King of Grove, OK, Heath Palmer of Eucha, OK, Grandchldren, Aaron Palmer, Brittany Makres, Caleb Youngpuppy, Bethany King (Russell Vanderpool), Shyna Summerfield, Baylon Summerfield and DJ Summerfield; his great grandchildren, Deacon Vanderpool (Handsome), Lenox Summerfield, Zeke Summerfield, Castiel King and Addealyn Taff; and his siblings, Don, Ernest, Tom, Sam, Mary (Millie) and Jerry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
