She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Shipley and Wilma Shipley (Garrison); her siblings, Kenneth Shipley, Karen Shipley and Paul Shipley; and her stepgrandson Bart.

She is survived by: her husband Reed George; her sister Donna Shipley-Owens; and her stepchildren, Gloria, Brian and Tammy. She is also survived by six step grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
