He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cornwell and Margaret Cornwell; his daughter Andrea Coleman; and his siblings, Myrtle Hinde, Myrle Schulmeister, Martha Long, Lucille Hall and Ruth Stevens.
He is survived by: his brother Brick Layer; his former wives, Judy Welty and Verla Meggers; his son Travis Cornwell (Jennifer Jackett) of Spencer, Indiana; his wife Dorothy Coleman; his children, Adam Cornwell (Lesa), Lori Smith-Kramer (Mark) of Enid and Jenny Kramer (Kyle) of Iowa; and his siblings, Frank "Ed" Cornwell, Robert "Bob" Cornwell, Millie Kramer, James "Jim" Cornwell and Irene Butterfield. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
