It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Jo Guthrie of Enid, Oklahoma, born in Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Hunter and Mildred Hunter (John); her son Brian; her siblings-in-law, Dan and Judy; and her father-in-law Howard.
She is survived by: her husband John Guthrie; her daughter Tamara Guthrie of Enid; her granddaughters, Brittany Holderly of Enid, Amber Felton of Monte Vista, CO and Alicia Zarate of Fairview, OK; her great grandchildren, Daylen Guthrie, Easton Guthrie and Aubrianna Skaggs-Guthrie; her sister Charlotte Phillips; her brother-in-law Bob Phillips of Edmond, OK; her nephews, Robbie, Tyler and Ryan Phillips; her mother-in-law Florabelle Guthrie of Wakita, OK; and her brother-in-law Steve (Ruth) of El Reno, OK. She is also survived by several cousins and other family members.
