She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie J. Doerfler and Victoria Doerfler (Stressler); her husband Gaylon Bentz; her siblings, Connie Donaldson and LeRoy Doerfler; and her granddaughter Alicia.
She is survived by: her daughter Mindy; her son-in-law Brian Simunek; her grandson Austin (Hannah Simunek); and her sisters, Doris Chapman, Flora Kusch and Wanda Avery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Sherrie's name may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
