He was predeceased by: his parents, Jocie Shrum and Betty Jones Shrum; his wife Marie Schollenbarger; and his siblings, Robert Shrum, Irven Lynn Shrum and Anna Pearl Huckens.
He is survived by: his children, LaTreasha Riggs (Wesley) of Forgan, Kimberly Tull (Marvin) of Forgan and Timothy Shrum (Susan) of Slapout; and his siblings, Willa Mae Ullrich, Raymond Shrum, Hank Shrum and Loyd Paul Shrum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
