It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven John Hughes of Enid, Oklahoma, born in Woodward, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin J. Hughes and Evelyn Kathleen Hughes (Stinson); his wife Donna Jean Hughes; and his grandparents, John, Leslie Hughes, George and Orpha Stinson.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Lynn Dobry, Steven John Hughes II, Elisandra Lynn Hughes, Diana Quinn Hughes, Aveah Dorian, Oceanus Dorian, Holden Hughes, Mason Nance, Carter Nance and Aiden Hughes; his siblings, Joyce Hughes Montgomery (Dean Montgomery), James Richard Hughes (Nancy Hughes) and Lisa Peterman (Les Peterman); and his aunt Twila Schonlau. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Steven's name be made to the Medford CIA (Community In Action) toward the purchase of a metal memorial bench with the inscription "Donna and Steve Hughes, owners of Hughes Pharmacy" to be placed on East Cherokee Street.
