She was predeceased by: her parents, James O. DeFoe and Carol Marie DeFoe (Rowley). She is survived by: her children, Zachary Shryock and Rachel Shryock; her siblings, Susan Eldredge and Jim DeFoe; and her granddaughter Elina Shryock. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
