He is survived by: his parents, Lucas Chavez Martinez and Amelia Torres Hernandez; his son Irvin Odiel; and his siblings, Cristina Delgadillo (Armando) of Enid, Jose Antonio (Ana) of Enid and Leo (Gerardo) of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.
Memorial contributions in Ruperto's name may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
