He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Winkelman and Beulah Winkelman (Stevens); his wife Melinda Winkelman; and his grandson Alex Merriman. He is survived by: his daughter Alisha Merriman (Robert); his granddaughters, Hailey and Vanessa; his son Milton Winkelman; and his sisters, Brenda Tucker and Jean Hester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
