He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh O'Neal and Lena O'Neal (Koehn); his siblings, Jimmy Dale, Betty Ellen O'Neal, Margie Wright, Raleigh Harvey O'Neal Jr., Ernest "Buster" O'Neal and Cecil O'Neal; his stepson Michael Patrick Eldred; and his grandchild Chrissy Hammerbacher.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Eldred (Simon) of Enid; his stepdaughter Peggy Bozym of Poway, CA; and his sisters, Vi Douglas of Enid and Cleva Beelendorf of Sunbury. He is also survived by three daughters, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
