He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Szczepaniak and Katherine Szczepaniak; his family Bonnie; his wife Bonnie James; his grandson Shawn Kendall; his siblings, Krystyna Hatfield, Rosy Bramwell, Marion and John Szczepaniak; and his children, Brad and Angela Szczepaniak.
Memorials may be made through the Anderson Burris to Brad & Angela Szczepaniak Nursing Scholarship at NWOSU, in memory of Richard Szczepaniak.
