He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoeltzel and Hertha Hoeltzel (Schroeder); his significant other Erma Hoeltzel; his granddaughter Kacie Mayhan; and his brother Michael Hoeltzel.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Cutler; his daughter Pamela Diane; his sister Connie Lewellen (Dick); his sister-in-law Edythe Hoeltzel (Vicki); and his pet Miss N. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pioneer/ Pleasant Vale Academic Foundation for the Richard Hoeltzel Scholarship with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
